Theme Park Daily OG ‘Back On Track’ has been spending plenty of time on Coin Coaster, our very own roller coaster game where players collect coins and get points. When we first made it, we set a maximum score of 2 million points and thought that would be more than enough. But we were dead wrong.Here's what he had to say.’Coin Coaster is one of the games on the TPD app. It’s great fun to play and got me hooked the first time I played. I, as of now, am no1 on the leaderboard, but the score on it is not my best. I was grinding Coin Coaster, as you do, when I got 19,000,000 points! I must have collected all the coins and double scores. I went to save my score, and a notification popped up saying, “Score is impossible, try again.”’
It turns out we completely underestimated the dedication of our fans, because Back On Track somehow managed to score a whopping 19 MILLION POINTS!
I can’t imagine his disappointment when he realised Coin Coaster had completely rejected his impressive score. After he DMed us to explain he was just too good, we went back to recode the game to fit his achievement on the leaderboard.
