Two days down and the YouTube legend and friend of TPD has reached a century of RITA rides!
It’s The Queen of Speed, King of Bad Ideas and he almost competed it!
After hitting such an incredible benchmark, we have to ask the question — has he now got more RITA creds than any other ride?
Dan smashed out 60 rides on day one, with reports there was only one train and he did have to queue — no special treatment from the Towers staff.
RITA had the biggest queue in the park on Monday, so clearly some hardcore enthusiasts were trying to get a ride along for the culture..
Day two and the queue had grown even more (busy for a Tuesday day in September), but Dan still managed to achieve another 40 laps — totalling the magic number - 100!
However Dan’s total lap target is 135 —reflecting the number of charitable donations to the Alzheimer’s Society on his site. So another 35 more to go!
So come on Dan! Everyone at Theme Park Daily is wishing you good luck! …Do you think he’ll go for a quick razz on Congo River Rapids when he finishes?
