From night-ride shots and incredible Halloween theming to spooky park features. We received a brilliant mix of entries from the Halloween experiences across the UK’s theme parks.
Mimi and I spent a long time debating the results. With so many different styles of photography and fantastic entries to choose from, picking a final three was a tough one.
But after plenty of deliberation, we've finally got our winners…
🥇 First Place: Jack
Taking the top spot is Jack! Congratulations on capturing our favourite photo in the competition. Jack has taken a classic Alton Manor light show shot and nailed it perfectly. We’ve taken dozens of similar photos ourselves but never managed one anywhere near as perfect. The colours,the lighting,the smoke are all absolutely spot on.
🥈 Second Place: Coaster Optics 11
In second place is Coaster Optics 11! Another brilliant entry and another classic shot. Again we've seen a lots of attempts of this Hyperia night shot from the Thorpe Park bridge but this was our favourite one. Congratulations!
🥉 Third Place: Theme Park Boy 4.
If we were going to have any of the entries professionally printed to hang on our wall, it’d probably be this photo of Rage at Adventure Island. The colours and framing of the eurofighter coaster at night are awesome!
👏 Honourable Mentions: Ava
We also wanted to give a shout-out to another entry that caught our eye. There was something really haunting about this photo of The Smiler from Ava. What a cool photo, we love it!
