There are plenty of things UK theme park fans dread about the closed season: months without their favourite coasters, fewer park vlogs and having to find a personality outside of theme parks until March.
But could this winter bring back something fans have been missing? We’re talking about Ben from Ride Comparisons’ What Goes Through My Mind series.

The concept was simple.Ben would show a roller coaster POV with “What goes through my mind on this ride”, before sharing the thoughts he thought he’d have while riding it.
When the series stopped, fans certainly made their feelings known. Ride Comparisons Number One Fan on Tiktok even made TWO SONGS about Ben ending the series and calling for its return. Yes, TWO. For a while, the campaign had more musical backing than some actual theme park attractions have theming.

Those songs were made a while ago, and the calls for a comeback have calmed down since then. But perhaps it’s time for it to return, because with the closed season approaching, we reckon What Goes Through My Mind could be just the thing to bring back.
And let’s face it, UK theme park enthusiasts will need something to keep them going over winter. We can only watch the same construction update seventeen times trying to find what it might include before deciding that we need a life.
Ben, we’re not starting another musical campaign just yet. But if you’re looking for a sign to bring the series back, consider this it.
Will What Goes Through My Mind return this winter, or will it remain closed longer than a UK coaster thats been sitting there for 3 months with no riders and somehow needs essential maintenance come March?
Only time will tell. Until then, we’ll be refreshing ride availability pages and rewatching our saved folders containing every Ride Comparisons Number One fan song.
Thanks for reading.
